Timothy Dattels
Timothy Dattels is currently a Senior Advisor to TPG Global having served as Partner for TPG, Chairman of TPG Asia and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In this role, he has been based in San Francisco, Hong Kong and Singapore and led the Asian investment operations. Prior to joining TPG in 2004, Tim served as a Partner and Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co.
He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from the University of Western Ontario. He serves or has served on the Boards of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield, BlackBerry, Invest in Canada, Parkway Holdings, PriMedia Inc., Shangri-La Asia Ltd., Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd., and SFJazz. Tim is currently Chairman of The Jackson Laboratory and the Chairman of Alpine Canada, the national governing body for para-alpine, ski cross, and alpine high-performance ski racing in Canada. He has also been appointed by Prime Minister Trudeau to represent Canada on the APEC Business Advisory Council. In addition, he recently joined the Board of Sagard Holdings, a Montreal-based dynamic alternative asset manager.
Ian Burns
Ian is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of STEP. He is the founder and Executive Director of Via Executive Limited, a specialist management consulting company and Managing Director of Regent Mercantile Holdings Limited, a Bermuda based investment. He is licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission as a personal fiduciary.
Mr. Burns is currently Chairman of AIM listed Seed Innovations Limited and a former non-executive director and audit committee chair of London listed River & Mercantile UK Microcap Ltd and Twenty Four Income Fund Limited. He is a non-executive director of Darwin Property Management (Guernsey) Limited, a fund investing in innovative, alpha-driven investment solutions to provide long-term investors with stable absolute returns, and Curlew Capital Guernsey Limited, a fund investing in Purpose Built Student Accommodation. He was previously Chairman of The Guernsey Citizens Advice Bureau and the Guernsey Association of Trustees.
Krisztian Toth
Krisztian is a lawyer whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance with an emphasis on cross-border transactions, proxy contests and other contested matters, public and private financings, securities regulations and corporate governance.
Clients value his ability to balance commercial and legal aspects and the broad range of his transactional experience. He has expertise in the national and international mining and oil and gas sectors and routinely acts for clients based in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Canada and the United States.
Krisztián has particular expertise in mining finance including royalty, streaming and joint venture transactions and acts for both Canadian and international companies involved in takeover bids, plans of arrangement, domestic and cross-border offerings (both public and private), corporate reorganizations, stock exchange listings, continuous disclosure obligations and other regulatory compliance issues.
Krisztián also works with startup companies and regularly advises entrepreneurs, senior management, board of directors and special committees on a broad range of matters.
